Kratom helped me stop 8 years of daily amphetamine abuse. With the help of kratom I went from homeless/rehab to clean – got a job and worked my way to $50K within a year and a half. Kratom seems to regulate my PTSD in a slight, but helpful way, and makes me human.

Recently (like an idiot) I admitted to a police officer I was using it in a state where it is banned (Arkansas).

I was brought out of my car, handcuffed and hauled to jail for the night, charges are DUI and Possession of Drugs, schedule 1. The officer said, “that stuff is so dangerous, tons of people die from overdose all the time….”

Ignorance of facts, the ridiculous Kratom law here, and my own honesty/stupidity might have just really messed up my future.

If there are any defense attorneys in arkansas that think they have a chance winning my case, don’t hesitate to call or message me. I can do a payment plan, I don’t care how much your fee is.

Hi. I’m Annie. I am 39 years old. I have a 9 year old daughter and a 6 year old son. My husband is in the Army, and we deeply care about this country. We both agree that the fight for Kratom is also a fight for freedom and civil liberties. My experience with this lifesaving plant began a few years ago. In quiet desperation, I was searching for help with a disease that killed my Grandfather before I ever met him. More recently, it took the life of my favorite Aunt. Unfortunately, I had a binge drinking problem that was quickly turning into full-blown alcoholism. It started with a few glasses of wine while out with friends, and, from there it became a few beers to a 6-pack when my kids went to bed. Ultimately, I was drinking bottles of wine at night, and feeling horrible during the day. I couldn’t be the mother my children needed, or the wife my husband deserved. I tried rehabilitation and AA . Neither worked for me, and I felt like a failure. One day, I randomly began searching for herbal remedies or supplements for alcoholism, and Kratom kept popping up in message boards. I did a little research and decided to give it a try. I was skeptical to say the least, but I had to do something. The results have been beyond amazing. I drink a cup of Thai tea in the morning, and Red Bali at night. There are no more cravings for alcohol, whatsoever. I was shocked when, a few months later, I went to a friend’s birthday party, and drank one beer. I always craved more and more, but I nursed this one beer all night. Now, I rarely drink at all, but on the few annual occasions that I do, it’s always just one drink. I would have laughed at someone if they told me this was possible before. I am now finishing my bachelor’s degree with honors, and my relationships with my family couldn’t be better. My husband will vouch for the fact that Kratom has helped me immensely. I’m an English major, so I’m skilled at writing, summaries, analyzing, and editing. Binge drinking is becoming a larger problem for women in their 20s and 30s. The Washington Post recently reported on this in an article. I know that President Trump’s beloved brother died at a young age due to alcoholism, and that it’s an issue close to his heart. I would love to help get the word out anyway that I can. I want to help other people struggling with this relentless disease, and I believe people should have more freedom over their own health. The banning of this plant will cause so much harm to people, communities and the nation, as we are facing a crisis of various addictions.

I’m on day 1 of taking kratom instead of suboxone. I cut myself way down to about 1/8 mg after being on it for 10 years off and on mixed with relapses using heroin and oxy. It’s been so long since I have gone a day without any kind of opiate in my system that I’m scared half to death. I have to work today but have the next two days off. I’ll keep you updated on how it’s going. So far I feel fine, but my last dose of suboxone was at 4pm yesterday and it’s only 11am now. Was definitely feeling a little antsy in bed early this morning. Took the kratom about an hour ago and feel fine now. For more information: <a href=“”http://kratomcrazy.com/“>http://kratomcrazy.com/”>Kratom

I first started kratom to detox off suboxone 28 days ago..Islas worked significantly for me..never have I experienced any high while taking it..of OT wasnt for the kratom I never would of made it as far as I have..ive tried many times in the past to get off of street drugs by using methadone or suboxone which both was highly abused and still getting high while mixing with benzodiazapine. The kratom your UN able to get high on even if u try to get high with mixing benzos with it..its been a great experience for me taking kratom..I thank god every day for bringing kratom into my life..I was well on my way to death. Thank you to all you kratom vendors! Your saving peoples lives so keep up the great work.! Banning kratom wouldnt be the best idea..its non habit forming like all these other pharmaceuticals are..something that really helps people you, the government wants to ban because your not making any money off it! Start a kratom clinic instead of the deadly poison methadone and suboxone..we addicts look for a way off drugs not to change one habit forming drug for another..really need to reconsider banning kratom..its a great natural way to get off heroin or pain pills..

My mom is taking prescribed pills for her current condition if this ban goes through her life expectancy will shrivel significantly she is currently taking methadone which is no good for anyone. I encouraged her to make the switch to kratom which would have a similar effect without all the bad stuff. To make this short if the d.e.a bans this it would be only to continue profiting off the consumers of opiate’s that is extremely self centered and a disgrace to the american government… Kratom is a threat to the medical industry because of its properties without putting the consumer at risk of more problems. Kratom is in the best interest for the people and if you can’t just let that be then the d.e.a is not good for us if they don’t support healthy alternative to harmful medication.

Kratom helped a friend of mine from high school overcome his opiate addiction. He hasn’t had an issue since, doesn’t have to use kratom any longer, and that was almost two decades ago.

My dad is in his eighties. He was having trouble with side effects from prescription pain killers and the doctors continually wanted to prescribe him stronger and stronger opiates that he didn’t want to use. He never had an addiction problem and always took his prescriptions as prescribed. When he started using kratom the side effects from the pain killers went away. His mood and pain improved also. Kratom greatly improved his quality of life.

The kratom industry does not take advantage of addicts as some politicians claim. When a person has an addiction problem the person in recovery is always looking for a substitute. It could be cigarettes, alcohol, energy drinks, love, or any other number of things they will focus their addictive behaviors on instead of whatever drug they were previously using.

Kratom does not get people high. It is no more addictive than coffee. It is not dangerous. It is a dietary supplement. Period.

This situation angers me to my core. If these politicians would focus more on preventing child trauma and maintaining healthy families… removing the mental health stigma and funding the mental health field, they would help prevent trauma and help prevent drug addiction.

Instead they fight to take away something that helps, just because they are desperate for a villain to blame.

    It’s disgusting.

I’m 52. I had a motorcycle accident several years ago. I’ve undergone a couple of surgeries and have a fused lower back. I’ve been in chronic pain for years. Doctors are now too afraid to dispense opioid pain killers and I’ve used so many nsaids that I now have kidney problems. I was watching the local news and they ran a story about Kratom and the risks, and how law makers will make this an illegal over the counter medicine.

Since they said on the news that it might actually work, I went out and got some. To my total surprise, they actually took the edge off my pain. I’ve taking them when needed for several months and I can function. I don’t think I’d be holding down a job if Kratom wasn’t available. What a help!

I am a Clinical Herbalist specializing in chronic pain, Opiate addiction and mental health. I am also a chemical dependency counselor. I take Kratom myself for pain management and recommend it to many clients. I believe Kratom is so important in my practice, as well as in many other people’s practices and lives, and I would like to help in the fight to protect it. Banning this herb as the DEA has proposed would be detrimental to so many.

I am a 48 year old woman and have suffered for most of my life with anxiety, ADD, and depression. I’ve also been in the health & fitness field since the age of 18. I have been on an SSRI for years and, although it did help, I was still unable to battle the anxiety. I live a healthy lifestyle by exercising daily and eating healthy. At times I would abuse alcohol in an effort to stop the noise in my head but alcohol was not a good solution and just made things worse. And then I discovered Kratom and my world changed. I now never touch alcohol nor do I feel the desire to. I wake up and look forward to the day and can keep anxiety at bay. My husband has noticed a huge improvement. I’m more social and have a greater zest for life. It is like the gray cloud that has been following me for most of my life has been lifted.

I’m 37 I’ve been through hell an back. Ever since I discovered kratom it’s helped tremendously. I have joint pains, depression. Kratom helped me do every day things without pain or being depressed. An I top of that it’s like drinking a coffee or energy drink. It’s also giving me energy an to not be tired. Also I had a friend that’s a addict an going down the wrong path in life.He started taking kratom an haven’t used in over 8 months. He also has a job he’s doing really well now. I wish my other friends could of found out about kratom. But it’s to late they both died of od. One heroin an other mixing it with methadone. Wish they knew about kratom an maybe they’d still be here. Anyways kratom really helps people not hurt them. God bless and have a beautiful blessed day.

My life has been blessed with two diseases that are often misunderstood and even judged unfairly: mental health issues and addiction.

My anxiety issues began in high school and felt akin to the stabbing pain of fear you feel right as your about to walk on stage…except that this one fleeting moment for the average person lasted every moment of every day for me. I tried every medication on the market for depression and anxiety treatment but unfortunately fell victim to the instant gratification of prescription pain medication. At last, the pain of everyday life was broken up by moments of pharmaceutical bliss…but not without consequences.

I ended up going to treatment for my addiction to pills at the end of high school and went off to college immediately afterward to begin my life. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the staying power of the disease of addiction and believed that I could be just like any other college student and drink at parties. Drinking alcohol provided me with an even more damaging escape from my fears and I fell into a hole that I could not get out of.

I began doing research on alternative treatments for anxiety, for I wanted more than anything to have my brain function in a way that could get me through one day without sending me into waves of panic. I read about Kratom online and ordered it, hesitantly. Upon trying it, I was amazed at its potential. I immediately felt “normal” and could go through my days without craving the escape of alcohol or other drugs. This was a big deal for me; Kratom helped me stay sober for years. Kratom helped me get to a solid, centered place in my life where I was able to attack the core issues that contributed to my mental health issues. Without Kratom as my ultimate balance, I don’t know that I would be where I am today. Honestly, I don’t know that I would “be” at all.

I often try to explain to other people what it is like to live with constant fear and anxiety. The people around me sometimes don’t understand why I turned to alcohol and opiates so often to self-medicate. I say this with the utmost assuredness: if you were to feel what I had felt 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for just one minute, you would be able to understand the relentless power of mental health disorders and addiction. If you were able to feel the moment of pure joy and RELIEF I felt when I discovered Kratom could be a wonderful supplement to my overall treatment, you would understand why I will stand tall and strong fighting for it every day.

Kratom has little to no side effects and has not been shown to be damaging to anyone’s health in any significant way. Yes, we need to do more studies on Kratom…but that cannot happen if it becomes a Schedule 1 Drug. The evidence of Kratom’s potential is OVERWHELMING due to the sheer number of testimonials and passionate individuals fighting for it. I hope that the powers at be would simply realize that we are just regular humans who just want to lead joyous, peaceful, and healthy lives.

I could have ended up a statistic. Instead, I am here.

Kratom has become a support for my life. It helps me cope with anxiety and depression. When I feel I am gaining tolerance, I stop taking it for a few weeks. A wonder drug!

I’m a 48 year old female, that works as medical secretary and a funeral assistant.

I started using Kratom after being on prescribed opiates for a broken back and an auto-immune disease. I used OxyContin & Percocet for breakthrough pain for 20 years. I’ve been using Kratom now for approximately 2 months and I am completely off of all prescribed pain medications… and I had no withdrawals. I feel like Kratom has given me my life back!

My name is Kathleen and I’m a 30 year old disabled woman. I have chronic pain, mostly in my back, from something called Pars Defect which causes sciatica, and will require surgery as it worsens. I’m chronically ill; every day I feel fatigued and weak and my muscles hurt. I have IBS and TMJ, I have bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, panic disorder, and PTSD. I have used red vein Kratom (mostly Bali, Borneo, Horn, Thai, and Sumatra) to help me lessen my chronic pain, relax my restless & aching muscles, as well as balancing my mood and helping me sleep. Kratom keeps me from sinking into deep depressions, and it helps me keep my pain at a tolerable level. I am forever grateful for this wonderful, medicinal plant, as well as the AKA for all the hard work they do. I would be living in a literal hell without this plant in my life.

Hello my name is Harry deets but my parents nicknamed me buddy.I lost my parents at the age of 13 from overdoses and because of my parents actions I was adopted by my legal guardians, unfortunately there was alot of physical and mental abuse done to me.Later on in life I turned to drugs herion and pills just wanting to die.I later found recovery martial arts and multiple doctors that I thought where treating my depression. Now at the age of 34 ,I herniated 2 discs in my lower lumbar and tore an L3 as well as degenerative disc disease, I thought to myself I’m going to be back on pills and for me that’s not okay there has got to be a natural alternative!Thank God I found kratom, now I’m off depression meds and back at martial arts with no pain or depression, I’ve got my life back and I’m gonna be ok

I’m currently 40 years old and have been taking a low kratom dose daily for over 9 years. Before I found it I was struggling with bi-polar meds and Tramadol addiction from a back injury. At that time I could barely keep a job, friends and any general stability in my life. I’m not completely healed by kratom but, I’m strong and well enough to create. I’m not a drain on society anymore. Not, a destroyer. I’ve built a career, family and wealth since I started using kratom. The pain is manageable and I can’t remember the last heavy depression or manic episode. I have several people that rely on me now.

I’m terrified about the government kicking this crutch out from under me. If they schedule kratom and I want to keep stability in my life, I have to find a bridge. Pain killers and pysch meds are not an answer. They are failure. I’m afraid. I’m afraid the government will take away the stability. Turning me into a liability. Pushing me to choose to commit a crime or leave to another country. No one wants this.

I am an 80 year old lady who has seen and felt the deep grief, hopelessness and devastation of opiates. I have never taken an opiate or medication of any kind with the exception of antibiotics a few times. But, I have dearly loved many who’s life has been destroyed by big pharma’s drugs. They have ravaged our families, our communities, our nation. Now there’s Kratom and I’m determined to make all of those who have lost so much and the many who lost their lives to have not suffered and lived in vain. This is my statement.

    NOW THERE’S HOPE

Most heroin/opiate users will tell you that the high is long gone. Their daily struggle is staying above the horrific withdraws. Many have chosen to OD rather than endure them. Now there’s hope and it’s right under our noses. Heroin/opiate users are flocking to the internet to buy kratom after hearing it eliminates 80 to 90% of heroin/opiate withdraws.

For $100 they are purchasing enough kratom to dose themselves to freedom. They are forming and joining support groups with compassionate members they call family. Grateful members are inspired to support and nurture newcomers through detox to freedom. Their FREEDOM celebrations are healing in themselves. They have their lives back and they’re spreading the good news as they grow expeditiously.

When the DEA announce the impending kratom ban, within days they

gathered respectfully at the gates of the White House to make their voices for kratom heard. They collected and delivered over 160K signatures to Obama and 25K to Trump. They shared their most personal stories to the world in support of this leaf. They hired lawyers and lobbyist. They called, emaileKkd, and tweeted legislatures, politicians, and the media. Ron Wyden, Jeff Merkley, Bernie, and many others supported the call to not classify kratom as schedule I drug. The DEA delayed the scheduling.

In ALA where kratom was make illegal heroin OD doubled. In NC where it made legal for adults OD dropped dramatically. Our State and Federal

Government has the opportunity to keep kratom legal for adults so that heroin/opiate users can take responsibility for their own detox without it being a felony. It doesn’t cost the Gov’t a dime!

Before I recommended kratom I tried it myself. I took the dose recommended for heroin detox for three weeks, then stopped. I didn’t get high. I didn’t have withdraws and I didn’t get addicted.

I’m a 50 year old woman who for 30 years drank heavily to numb very deep problems and to cope with the outside world. I drank at home, at work and pretty much wouldn’t go anywhere that didn’t have alcohol available. I have lost/quit more jobs than I can remember, lost more friends and relationships than I can count, and how I managed to stay alive, not to mention keep from killing anyone by drunk driving is beyond me. I have been in a relationship with an incredible woman for 15 years now, but just over a year ago I was told I could quit drinking, or quit her. I had been dabbling in kratom for a couple of years, but never thought to put it to the test and see if it could actually help me stop. Without alcohol I was unable to socialize, felt clumsy, jittery and the panic attacks from my youth came back with a vengeance. I started taking kratom more seriously and researched, tried out different strains and doses that worked for me and a year later I am still alcohol free. I am unable to do the whole AA thing due to my social issues and the fact that they put too much religion into it. I found a very safe sweet spot, which is just one tsp of either white or red veined MD, with another 1/2 tsp of yellow strain about 6-8 hours later. That’s it! That’s all I need to be able to get up every day happy to be alive, able to get motivated to clean the house, cook, do laundry and take care of my wife. Over a year ago I was drinking on average 9-12 beers and a pint of tequila a day, or 8-10 of the mini bottles of 99% schnapps. I still have a long way to go on my agoraphobia, but going from that amount of alcohol to 1-1/2 TEASPOONS of this miracle plant a day is astonishing. To take that away from me, and so many others with similar stories is not only unthinkable, but just evil. We have GOT to stop the big pharma lobbyists who’s only concern is to ban an incredible plant that may take a few dollars away from the legalized drug pushers. Opiates are killing more and more people every day and yet they are given out like M&M’s with no thought whatsoever about the people they’re getting hooked. Kratom is starting to save lives, so you’ll understand our confusion about this. This post was way too long and I am sorry about that, so I’ll end it by saying if you take this away from me and countless others, there will be an epidemic of relapses that I can’t bear to think about.
